There are a lot of prepaid phone cards in the market now , so if you are really want to get the most out of your money, take the time to compare different calling cards.
Tips no 2: always Read the term and conditions.
Be aware some prepaid calling cards which offer you huge amount of talk time. Usually these cards only mention how many minutes you can talk to without mention any rate. Usually this kind of card, have other fee, which can be service fee, connection fee, etc. Once again, always read the term and conditions to make sure all the hidden charge.
Tips no 3: always Protect your Phone card PIN (Personal Identification Number)
PIN is is your personal number and should not ever be shared with anyone unless you have given them permission to use the card.
Tips no 4: Find out if there is any Connection fee.
Connection Fee is a fee which is billed for every connected call you made . If the destination number is connected to answering machines, fax machines, voice mail, or pagers picks up, the call is considered to be connected. Connection fees vary between different calling cards. If you are planning on making only short calls, the connection fee alone can finish your cards minutes. Many prepaid phone cards will have a cheap per minute rate, but then a very high connection fee. Once again, if you make only short quick calls, check the per minute rate while knowing what your connection fee is.
Tips no 5: Make sure you know your card expiration date
Most of the prepaid phone cards have expiration date. This time span is usually 3-6 months and is either from the date of purchase or the cards first use. If your card expires with minutes still remaining, you cant use it anymore.
